Lobby Day 2010
EQUALITY MARYLAND LOBBY DAY – Join us on February 22nd!
There is one thing that will affect legislators more than anything else - hearing from constituents! It is crucial that you mark your calendars and be there with us next Monday, February 22nd! This night really helps to not only educate lawmakers, but also demonstrate strong public support and the overall power of the statewide movement for equality!

Location: St. Anne’s Church - 5:30 - 8:00 pm: Lobby Meetings
We are working with District Coordinators to confirm appointments. Your coordinator will be in touch with you. If you do not hear from your coordinator, you can also contact Mike (mike@equalitymaryland.org) to find out when your meetings are scheduled.
Throughout the evening, refreshments will be available at St. Anne’s. Feel free to stop by in between appointments. - 8:00 - 10:00 pm: Post-Lobby Day Celebration

After your lobby meetings are over, join Equality Maryland and Guerilla Gay Bar Baltimore in a celebration of the progress we have made and in preparation for the fight ahead. Families are welcome to settle into the dining room for some delicious food. We also welcome participants to come over to the bar to raise a toast for equality! We hope to see you there!
We are working on a slew of important bills including legislation to provide parental rights for de facto parents, allow family leave for domestic partners and of course our two major priorities – anti-discrimination protections for transgender Marylanders and marriage equality for LGBT couples.
